Can anyone tell me if the black hardware is a black electroplate or a powder coat?

Not sure, but if you are talking about grounding it, others have found that you need to scratch some off to get a proper connection for the bridge posts...

actually wondering about removing so I can do ...other stuff to the bare metal
I can always sand the black off the back of bridges for earths, but i have never done a whole bridge.
Thanks guys
If it comes off with fire it's not electro plating. I was thinking gun blue would be an interesting finish presuming its actual steel and not cast pot metal underneath. *puts on the lab jacket and fluffs eye brows* Science and research will be the answer*
i would be willing to bet that it is pot metal, but gun blued steel would be cool, so would heat blued

Stan, you set my head racing off on tangents. Heat coloured Titanium tuners! *patents the idea* Although I'd need a second job to afford them.
