    Yeah was pretty happy with this one. On the spalt lp there was still some grain holes in the cap but this one was alot tighter.

    my spalt PRS plays and sounds pretty good stock.
    Might have to record a quick video for us bro haha

    Yeah all stock. Only changes on the thing are cloth wire and the carve in the lower horn like on the real deal. Plays amazing and sounds pretty good actually. Lower output pups than what I'm used to but very clear and clean. Really not bad at all.

    Hey Andrew.
    Love the build and what you've ended up with.

    I hunted down this thread because I need to know about the poly finish you used.
    I'll be building an ES-1GT for a friend, and because he gets a bit sweaty, it needs to be glossy and durable finish.
    Will the type of product you used on this build suit that durability requirement?

    I hadn't seen this build before, I'm glad I did though I may have messed myself a wee bit. those spalt caps are just to die for. Love your work Andrew.
