Doc that combo would work well I think and the maple neck would go well with the white pearloid PG.

so what's the countdown under 5 hours to pickup Doc ! Put the stopwatch on !

@ DB, I'm keen to beta test some mark 2 DT colours, I can pick them up to save postage

As a side note, it would be cool to have some way of previewing guitar finishes, maybe a small app you could run on a PC,Mac, Phone etc, then you could see what the guitar would look like beforehand, you could then easily change the finish if you didn't like the result without having to any sanding back.
I can do Gold highlight too!
These will be available as add ons with the MKII

My brain just froze up at the mention of creating an app
I wouldnt have a clue about how any of that 'puter stuff works, let alone create an app

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

I see it is around the $8 mark for 4 meters, compared to $6ish for the 60mm wide x 1 metre length shielding tape we sell at PBG.

The obvious advantage of 60mm is less joins, and I also wonder how the adhesive on the snail tape will hold up over time..

Disadvantge of PBG tape is shipping cost if your order is under the free post range.....

I'll tell you what, when I go to the Big Green shed next Tuesday to buy some things needed for my kit build, when get back home I'll measure the dimensions of the copper snail tape and post them in this thread, will also post my experience with it too.

You could try hiring some IT person to create the app for Pitbull guitars.

One thing though, once the dingo tone has dried, is it okay to spray a lacquer clearcoat over it or is there something better that you could recommend?

ah damn I forgot the time zone for Darwin, I was thinking its 2 hours ahead of WA but it's only 1.5 hours. What throws me out is SA has daylight saving and are 2.5 hours ahead of WA. Too many time zones in Oz !

oh well, 5 hours and counting Doc !
