There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

That's the soldering station I bought last year. I bought a Weller soldering station in 1982 that's done me well for years, but it seems the element has gone. It was easier buying a new station than finding a replacement part.@DB yeh mate just got ta go with the flow and move on.

I have had 3 in 10 years, the last 2 have gone in 18months and 2 years, the 1st one i carried in my guitar kit when i was gigging and on the road, it got a lot of use, i think it was a Weller as well and it disappeared one night.
The new one i set it at 360C and it worked a charm, very nice.
