    RC-1 neck position

Hi all, first time builder. I understand how to measure the neck to get equal distance between the nut to the 12th fret and to the bridge. But where exactly on the bridge? I don't want to set the neck only to find there is not enough adjustment with the bridge saddles to set the intonation correctly.

Has any one out there built an RC-1 and could give me a measurement or reference point at the bridge?

    Cheers,
    Shayne S.

    Hi Shayne,
use the Stewmac fret position calculator. For a tune-O-matic bridge it will tell you the exact distance fromt he nut to the middle of each bridge post. I use it on every build.

    cheers,
