Hey Fretworn, Thanks, unfortunately the dry comes with it's own problems. I moved out here from Brisbane 5 months ago and could only fit one of my guitars (a Maton 325 series) in for the move. Within 7 weeks it had dried out to the point it was unplayable. It took another 4 weeks to get the timber back up to the right moisture content and the guitar playable again. It's a constant balancing act keeping it in it's case and keeping it around the recommended 45-55% humidity level when the air is so dry.
But it certainly will help with the drying between coats averaging 38-41C out here at this time of year.
