Thanks for the tip Andy and just ordered myself a kit too.
Acknowledge Bellbowrie to Manly West & back would require map, compass, cut lunch and change of underwear, particularly more so on a hot steamy Brissie day.
Rain is P@#$%^g down at present and when not raining it is pretty steamy so not much work happening on the finish of my builds. Might try a bit of Maguires polish on a back tomorrow to see how close I am to being able to bring up a shine similar to the awesomeness of yours.

Hey Doc, that was on my ST-1 and my laziness/overeagerness to hear the tonerider vintage plusses won. I did not end up fixing it, but thats fine as since i've been playing the ST-1 I've come up with a number of things that I'm going to rework.

Ah rightio, if the neck on that ST-1 of yours is a bolt-on neck then I can think of another fix for the wonky nut shelf, just simply replace the neck with another one of the same type.

Do you mean this one?, this has pics of my pedal builds on it and some sound demos, I don't think I remember signing up as a member at DIY Stompboxes, but, I am a member of Freestompboxes.org.

No worries mate, feel free to ask as many questions as you like, I always enjoy sharing my knowledge.

Your Spalted LP build is coming along really well, I like the finish on it, looks nice.
