    I have had good success with the MTN94 range of rattle cans. http://mtnaustralia.com.au/shop/mtn-94/.
    There is a good range of colours and from the looks of the chart you might find colours close to the shades you are looking for.
    A lot less hassle IMO.

    With these MTN paints, I see no wood primer (but I do see a polystyrene primer, and a metal/plastic primer). Will I need a primer? Or would either of those primers actually work here? Or will just another brands primer be fine? (EDIT: Oh also, how many cans would you usually need on a build? For each primers, colours and clears)

    The Preval seems quite cool, what sort of paints do you need for that though? Just anything sufficiently thinned out? I'm just super unsure what sort of paints to use for anything that's not a rattle can, really don't want to goof anything too badly...
