Had a real glass mirror scratch on my 1st Explorer & an acrylic mirror one on a Strat and both looked great however you just gotta keep wiping off all the fingerprints on the mirror after each play, otherwise they are stunning and great for reflecting the lightshow into the crowd.

I reckon that White Knight Super Gold spray paint would be great for someone wishing to build a Gold Top Les Paul from a PBG Les Paul kit, you just need a PBG LP kit with a plain wood grain, and not a Flamed, Spalted, or Quilted top, save those for finishes that let them show through.
