I'm considering using Tru Oil gunstock finish on the neck. It's easy to apply and looks great when it's done. The only thing that I'm worried about is how well the decal will adhere to the headstock after the oil has been applied. I'm also wondering if it will take a clear coat paint to seal the decal in place after it's done.
