Hi all time for some bass

    HI everyone,

So this is a new one for me. I've been playing bass for about 15 years now. I've played with fenders jazz bass for a few years. Then up four sting to a Peavey cirrus with both with frets and fretless, a five string jazz knot off,Allen Woody Rumblekat and a Tacoma thunder chief.

I've always wanted a Rickenbacker for the last few years but just never had the money. About a year ago a buddy of mine told me about Pitbul guitar and well with a bit of hard work at work with a Christmas bonus it was time to get my Rick. It was a bit of sad note as the day I got the Rick was the same day the Lemmy past away. So if any one has any advice on how best to move forward with build a bass I'm all ears. Thanks ben

Hi Ben, welcome to the forum.
Have a read of other RC build diaries to get an idea of any upgrade ideas and the procedure they did.
Start a build diary, do a mock build to make sure it all fits together ok. Start sanding and work out a stain/paint plan.

Best of luck with the build

Wokks is right Ben - build diary, dry run (make sure everything is there and that there are no significant issues with the kit - rare, but has happened). Following that - ask questions, take photos, take time and enjoy! Great to have another low ender on the forum!
