What a fantastic build! Would love to give this a try some day
We did do it the first time, but it just wasn't hard enough. Maybe more coats were needed though.... I had it to 1200. Although, I've got to admit, anyone needing clear on epoxy - Brasso, then Silvo. That top one is only sanded to 1500 then brasso. Silvo gets it even better.
Do you know anything about the Feast Watson Glass Finish Countertop Epoxy aging?
No pick guard, BUT, if I ask very nicely my partner may make me wooden pickup surrounds out of ebonized cypress.
Pretty sure Fender used wallpaper for their paisleys. This is looking so cool, great stuff.
'As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll.'
Used Brasso and the silvo for polishing to a high shine, then paste wax and buffing. More buffing and a final spritz when it's all assembled. One sad thing is that the holes were not drilled quite right at the factory..
Neck on. Tremolo on tonight, control plate is currently drying.
looks great Iceadj, so this has a Bigbsy tremelo ? What holes weren't lined up the tuner holes ?
