    Cool...

How to mount the 1" pipe I've bolted to the body in my new spray booth? Drill a hole in the plywood side and hope for the best? Not when you have a machine shop at the office:

This gets bolted to the plywood from the outside, the shaft coming through a small hole. I can now rotate and lock the guitar in any position required as I'm spraying. Very cool.

Pics of the completed spray booth hopefully this weekend. Then back to the actual build.

Back on track. Shot 3 coats of acrylic primer in the new booth. The overspray is well contained, success!!!

Hey all, I've been away from the guitar build for 3 weeks, letting the primer cure but also wrestling with a new concept. I was going to paint it as a tribute to the Shelby Daytona, but a recent purchase has me thinking of a change in direction. Something much more personal to me now.
