well done Sam it's finally making noise. Love the colour and the chrome hardware looks great. I found with this model it is headstock heavy when using a strap.

There's a type of strap which takes most or all of the weight on the horn letting the body counterbalance the neck better. I'll figure out one of those if the neck swings down too much.

Gruv Gear Duo straps are good for weight distribution.

Yeah, I was thinking something like that.

Probably won't bother unless I decide to gig with the 6 string. That seems pretty unlikely. 4! 4! 4! 4! My P-bass does OK.

Nice job Tindrrel. Finish has a nice warmth to it. How does she play?

Plays nice enough. The strings are slightly closer together than I'm used to. I can see why most 6 strings have a wider bridge. The Tone Monster preamp gives a fair amount of flexibility in mellow or punch.

The provided strings aren't quite long enough for the through body bridge. The winding tapers off on the B and E just before it reaches the nut. I've got some strings on the way which are hopefully a bit longer.

I'm not going to promise a sound byte. My playing isn't all that interesting.

didn't think about extra string length needed for a string through setup. Hope the strings you ordered are longer
