Body was in pretty good nick at the start....
a Friday night and Saturday of sanding at least 2 of each...180, 220, 240, 320, 400 & 0000 steel wool
(**the sound of basswood hitting the pavement**) uh oh! a combination of me placing the sealed body balanced precariously and within reach of a 1 year old and 3 year old and a 1 year old and 3 year old being themselves!!!

drew the head stock cut the way Adam shows in the video, tried to cut it...ended up like this....
oh well nothing that sanding for a long time wont fix

...followed by more sanding and smoothing of the neck.
I'm not totally satisfied yet will revisit on another day.....
