Yes, but I wouldn't do it again.
It didn't cope well when I had to touch up the colour,
If it was a dye or a stain, it's great, but I wouldn't do it with auto paint again, you live and learn.
I'll put a couple of more coats on and then polish it after it cures for a week.
Touch wood it all goes well ;-)

Our girl has multi-coats as well, after a good brush I can fill a 10 litre paint tin with hair.
Our house has tumble weeds, I real should learn to spin, and knit ....

My Jack Russell definitely always sheds her hair.... Becomes a pain when she jumps on your lap and you are wearing black.... Good thing she has no access to the workshop

Due to my incompatence as spray painter I have decided to add some graphics to my build.
Here are some of my mockups, with apologies for the quality of the photos.

i like the gecko , does have special significance or do you just like geckos?

Nice graphics mate. I personally prefer the larger gecko on the body. Both look good, but to me the larger one looks like it's meant to be there whereas the little one looks like it's a decal that someone has put on a stock guitar. Either way looks great though! :-)

It's sort of a "thing" with me atm
There is a conspiracy theory out there that all the world leaders are really lizard people.
It's so out there that it tickled my warped sense of humour
All hail the Lizard People :-)

The Mrs and I have spent quite a bit of time, over the years, in little pacific island paradises. The geckos or moko or mo'o are something we look forward to seeing - one of the signals that our holiday has really begun.

So I really do like the idea of the gecko motifs. Although I'd squeeze in a palm tree and a margarita glass too - but that is probably just a poor reflection on me
