why don't you build a Ninentdo inspired JM-1 Pabs ? You can cut the pickguard to suit and sure you have an old controller you could use

That Nintenaxe is amazing! I've seen the bass version of James' #15000 and a Tele version of his #13143, very damn cool axes!

Just ordered a body blank from these guys... I never knew - noob that I am that we have this level of building pros in Finland.
Just a few to post here but check out their site - just google Amfisound guitars. You'll find quite alot of inspiration there. Unbelievable stuff in their galleries...
