Were you the test subject in the experiment?
ahha Weirdy it felt like it. Was 2 people per experiment and we had to make up a circuit from some bits and pieces. We never checked the circuit and 2 wires needed holding together as they weren't joined properly. My uni mate said I'll hit the power switch and you hold the wires and I stupidly said ok. Next thing I was thrown back about 2 metres into a cabinet.
Electronics have never been my strong point , lucky we got guru's like you Weirdy hahah

on the subject of electrocution...
Whenever I hear of it, I always am reminded of my dad telling me about an electrician who arrived unannounced, flipped the power off at the mains and then proceeded to work on extending power to some new offices in the companies new 'south' wing they had added. By turning the power off he effectively crashed everyones computers in the north wing, and it wasnt long before they figured out the power must have 'tripped' and duly flicked the power back on. Simultaneously causing a blood curdling and panicked scream to emanate from the southern wing....

ahha yes DB had to remove a light fitting about 6 years ago and my thinking the light switch is turned off there will be no live power to the light fitting !

HAHA glowing in the dark DB, you probably held some of the power in your body for a few days.
I got a whole new respect for electricity now (about the same as routers and bandsaws)

Oi I made the recorder cooler than lead guitar, I basically shredded it in primary school!!
Also on the subject of electrocution, I've been hit by a massive discharge when I unplugged my laptop's charger and accidentally touched the pins on the plug. I've also been hit by live mains once.... That hurts so badly and if there was no way for all that power to reach a grounding point I easily would have been killed... My respect for electricity is just like Wokka's!
Thats what multimeters are for guys, check twice before touchy touch. 500 amps Db would fry you ouch.
