So after completing the wiring, only the 6 string neck worked. I ended up pulling it all back out and shielding everything as was suggested. I also used the GEAR4MUSIC wiring diagram instead of the PBG diagram but did use a bridge ground and now she is working great. Still need to do some fine tuning and adjust intonation but so far looking pretty good. Will post more pics soon.
