    2 x 12 or 1 x 12

    I have 2 Celestion Vintage 30 speakers: 12" and 80w.

    yes a dilemma, I know...

    I am trying to work out if I should make a 2 x 12 cab or two 1 x 12 cabs... or 2 1 x 12 cabs that can be made into a 2 x 12...

To help decide, I have a 100w Fender twin reverb, and a 20w Orange micro terror head

I'd go 212 and have both amps as a stereo rig, will get different sounds out of each speaker though... I know the Terror can really pack some heat through a 4x12, so it should be fine!

    No worries Stan!
Also as a guideline, normally a 100W amp is double the volume of a 10W amp, but since these amps are different, the coversion will differ too, but you should be able to have both amps at decent levels and balanced out too...

whilst it sounds fun, I'm unlikely to run them both at once, but i am leaning towards a 212
