    well done Ben its all a learning curve but glad the axe plays better (was it a tele kit from memory ?)
    As DB always tells me cheap tools give cheap results so worth spending a bit more on a fret crowning tool.

    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    As I always say, make do with what you've got. It would be great to have a shed full of Stew Mac gear, but unfortunately impossible for most.
