    The pictures don't really capture the finish, mobile phone pics reduced to 200kb. I'll get it all built and then find a place to upload some full-size photos from the 35mm camera. The shellac is sensational but understated at the same time.

    The front needs some touch-ups, but shellac allows for this by binding into previous coats.

    The nature of the shellac finish is that it is extremely-thin, and it's difficult not to go too far in the final polishing phase. Thankfully, adding some more shellac in the spots that I've gone through is easy.

    Sprayed lacquer would have been much easier, but this guitar was asking for something more traditional.
