Well there's a result, the instrument's actually to scale this time, happy days.

Grain's pretty tight for ash so the sandblast effect probably won't have as much impact, time will tell.
Headstock holes are way too far south for my tastes but otherwise a nice tidy kit.
Preliminary carve done.

Some nice carving action going on there. Ash grain looks like my TLA, factory must be going through same batch of timber.

@Gav@Nick Thanks guys, it's really hard to convey the lines in a pic with a monotone piece of wood. I think it's gonna be one of those things that will make more sense once the colour goes down.
