Obviously funds are an issue, so that may not be viable in any way at this point in time though.

It's terrible to see this happen after all the work you've put into this build. As others have already said, I'm sure the PB team will be able to come up with a viable workaround. I really hope so because I would love to hear and see this guitar in action!
There's no reason why anyone should put up with these errors, be it a first time builder or a seasoned pro. The scale measurements of the first ST kit that I attempted are in a build diary for ALL to see, if I'm wrong tell me now and I'll accept that I f#cked up.
Fact is I'm not wrong, and I forked out a lot of money to customize a kit that had fatal errors and was never compensated, nor did I request compensation.
Fast forward to this build, and a neck so poorly finished you would think it was made by a blind man.
I'll tell you all right now, there will be no workaround or compensation by PBG because I told Adam to shove his replacement, for the simple fact that he was unwilling to accept that his rubbish product has cost me more than just the cost of a kit.
If I was in WA, rest assured I'd be giving this kit back in person and the meeting wouldn't be a pleasant one.

This is the second threat against my person you've made it two days, Nigel. Pull your head in.

I have offered you a replacement neck, on your word that the neck is in fact unrepairable. By law I should at least receive the neck back so we can inspect it. I am not responsible for compensating you for the finish you've used, I don't think that is reasonable. If the neck is so bad it "looks like it was made by a blind man", then you should have picked that up in the mock build, if not the initial inspection.

For the record, if you'd been an adult about this from the start, instead of aggressively asking "what are you going to do about it?" I may have been more sympathetic and even considered a partial refund so you could buy some more finish. Instead you were overly aggressive and, quite frankly, rude in your emails. I don't respond well to being bullied.

If you're that unhappy with our product, please shop somewhere else.

    Good luck.
    Cheers,

    Adam

I've made two threats against your person? I'm sorry if you got that impression Adam, I was merely speaking my mind.
I'd be more than happy to publish my emails right here on this forum, and we'll just see how "aggressive , rude and bullying" I was.
Don't try and make this something it's not and turn it into a personal issue, I simply requested to be compensated for my financial loss, no more no less.
Irregardless of whether or not I picked up a problem with the product upon initial inspection is irrelevant, not to mention an unfair obligation on the purchaser. Maybe in the future you could ship laser levels and calipers with your kits, that way your customers could further point out the shortcomings of your incompetent manufactures.
I would have welcomed that the neck be sent back for inspection, but obviously this is made apparent after the fact you have absolved yourself of any responsibility or obligation.
Rest assured, I won't be shopping with Pitbull guitars in the future, but unfortunately it's cold comfort considering there was never a resolution on my behalf and you've walked away with my money and all I've walked away with is a sour taste in my mouth.
Thanks for nothing Adam, I hope you sleep well tonight.

Barge, the way I see it, you still should have stayed calm about the whole issue, and don't worry too much about the financial loss, there has been much worse than that happen all over the world.

If the fretboard is thicker on one side than the other, you could actually very carefully sand it down and get the radius back in the board.

All it needs is some VERY careful filing and maybe even a radius sanding block.... So right now it isn't totally dead... Can't really do a video, dont have a spare neck :P

There's no "replacement neck", trust me.
