My main media player is Windows 7's good old Windows Media Player, recently I found my iPod Nano while going through some of my stuff, so I ended up installing iTunes on my PC so I could put some new music on my iPod, since I tend to make my music using audio loops, I use a bit of software called Ableton Live, occasionally when I want to make my own audio loops I'll use Audacity to record and edit audio....pretty good bit of software considering that it's free.

Foobar2000 if I'm on Windows, so I voted for foobar2000.

It's easy as to make it look significantly better.

Recently installed Mediamonkey on my PC again, thing I like most about Mediamonkey is the Visualizations, I swear that the makers of the Mediamonkey software must have coded a learning ability into the coding that does the visualizations cause it seems to give you better visualizations the longer you play music with Mediamonkey, either that or it's just my imagination.

You should see the visualizations you get when playing trippy music like PsyTrance, pretty mindblowing.

I use VLC for learning Bass riffs, find it does everything I need for the job.. Love the ability to slow down and the EQ lets me filter out that horrid twangy Guitar stuff

For the workshop I use itunes. I like itunes because I know that I have not stolen music inadvertantly and the Artist gets paid.

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

I know some artists who might disagree with the "Artist getting paid" comment. That's why I prefer to buy soft copies direct via bandcamp or something similar where I can, or to but cds direct from the artist in question. But then I listen to a lot of stuff that you usually can't find in JB HiFi

MusicBee for me. It's light and fully functioned, and free. :-)

    Vox Audio Player

I use a small program for my mac called Vox. ?It plays all file formats and it's got a few features which I don't use but I'm sure somebody would find them useful.
