Thanks Fretworn, I did spend quite a time reading the forum and searching-getting the materials. (was not so hard but was not so easy).

The thing is I didn't want to order online (abroad I mean). I'll try to complete these with the supplies here in Turkiye.

@ Andrew, thats funny being called Walt from Breaking Bad hahha
Thanks Wokkaboy, I don't think to use a solid color I'll prefer staining. But there's no Wudtone here (and since it is all 100% natural I would prefer Dingotone to use) ,don't want to order it abroad and deal with our customs.

But I'll keep in mind not going over 400 grit since I plan to use a wipe-on paint if I can find any. There are many paints (water based acrylics) used on woodworking-hobby-objects. But this is a guitar project so I think I should find another way.

Aw dangit Sungulum now I'm hungry and I recently had a nice big bowl of pasta...
About the paint, do whatever suits you best, if you think something will do the job, try it out on some scrap wood!

The day I go to Turkey is the day I try out that food, unless someone knows of a good Turkish kitchen in Melbourne?

    Greetings everyone.

First, I know I was away way too long. I'm really sorry for that. But my practice is quiet busy so I get home exhausted So, I can't spare enough time for my build and it is going really slow. Apologies...

Anyhow it is still going on and here are the latest updates for it.

After a good (so I think) session of sanding, I decided to do a shellac finish in an old way.

I prepared and boiled a formula of shellac with the ingredients that I could obtain here in my hometown. It contains alcohol, mastic gum, pine resin, turpentine oil and of course shellac.

I also applied a covering for the inside, in case it flows down.

Then it was a difficult decision to choose a decal for my own build
