Missus wants a chook house built today so I made a start in the shed pretty early this morning (before I get put to work).
Rolled the bottom edges on the body a bit more and generally smoothed out all the back contours to a point where I wouldn't change a thing. I just need to get some more 400 grit, give it a light going over and it should be cool.

haha love the KFC tele mate ! You are working in good conditions even the chook house has wifi. The naughty room only got it 6 months ago after we threatened DB we wouldn't be serving him beer and pizza !

I'm diggin' this Dingotone man:-) It's not as dark as I'd envisioned but I really like it all the same.
I went over probably 5 times but it got the the point where the timber wasn't taking on anymore stain, if I left this to cure and went back over with more stain coat would it darken any further, or should I just proceed with the intensifying coat? I would like it a bit darker if i could.

Hey Barge looking sweet. I'd let it cure for about 3 days and go over with another stain coat. It will darken. I've found it actually darkens in the curing process as the oils cure. I'd stick to the stain coat for at least 2-3 more coats. Then move onto intensifying coats.
You should be able to achieve the darkness I got with my test ST-1 body. This is the pic Ads took after 3rd stain coat, it's had about 2 more since then and I'll probably clear it soon

Righto I'll do that Wokks, that's pretty much the colour I'm looking for with that one of yours, so that hasn't had an intensifying coat yet?

I think that was 3 stain coats Barge, was a few months ago I did them. Just got to be patient so do some work on the neck maybe or finish the chook shed haha.
    Love the neck plate reshaping.
Looks like we will be spending alot more time together in the naughty room, now you got 4 x life and I got reduced to 2 x life haha.
I'm catching up with DB soon to help move some avaires so I'll make sure there's plenty of beer on tap !
