So - been a while (again) but a bit more progress.
The clear coats have begun and MAN is this guitar thirsty. The fabric just drinks the clear coat even after sealing. I'm through one rattle can and it's finally starting to take a bit of sheen/gloss. Will sink maybe another half can on it and let it cure then it'll be cut+polish+assembly.
In the next few weeks I'm expecting my 7 string to arrive too - and I've also just bought a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe from '97.

Clear coats are all finished now. Looks pretty good to my eye. I thought it was going to be a lot more temperamental but I had no orange peel or anything!
Where she'll hibernate until cured.
