Waiting for the Dingotone to arrive before I can continue. However, glad to say that the pickups came in the post today. Seymour Duncan EMTY Ahb-3 Blackouts, Mick Thomson signature for some crushing tone. The plan is to direct mount these so I've painted the pup cavities black in preparation.

Dingotone came in the mail today. Honestly, Im pretty amazed by the first coat of nullabor ochre stain. Its already quite a vivid colour and I doubt Id want to put on a second stain coat because its practically popped out to the depth I wanted it. I also tried my hand at dingowax on the headstock (which has now been engraved) and its come up nice and shiny (I cant photograph to save my life, so I doubt you can see it in the pic) and I've put a layer on the fretboard and it feels sensational. I've been using lemon oil in my ten years of playing but this stuff feels much better. I guess Ill have to see how it turns out in the long run but its looking great.

Nullabor ochre is amazing. And yeah, it looks pretty different in the flesh. Its similar to the brown on the ibanez J customs which is exactly what I was going for.

Thanks. What specs is your custom going to have? The factory got mine wrong, but still a great kit.
