    nice one Dale that looks excellent, is this an SG-1 basswood model ? I see dot markers instead of trapezoid markers of the SG-1F.
    You nailed the blue colour !
    Might as well enter it in GOTM, there's already 3 other Gibbo's !

    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    Really nice blue finish and the ink seems to have really done the job. Really like the way the basswood grain shows through but still has that high gloss deep finish.

    Yes Wokkaboy, it is an SG1 basswood model. Ha ha not sure it's worthy of a GOTM nomination. But I'm really happy with it, It's not perfect, but it's the best I could do, hopefully when I do another kit I can do a better job. Cheers vh2580, I was stoked with the wood grains and colour!
