Thread: Joes p-bass

  1. #1
Joe's wife and I conspired to acquire a P-bass kit for Jpe's birthday. Today we got together to start putting it ... together. I'm building my $20 ash Strat kit from the 2nd anniversary sale in parallel with this. Joe had a great afternoon. We worked out where to put the bridge (thanks DB!) and then started sanding. A lot. And then we jumped in his spa. Woot!

Here's the bass after a first coat of dairy blonde, no white pigment. Joe's thinking he'll sand this back to lighten the base and add some pigment to the second coat and see how it goes.
