    A bit more progress.....

The other day when Mr Tim was here getting the speed humps ripped out of a Bass neck, we had a joke about dropping a third pup on board.....

Well, today when i routed the bridge pup hole I screwed up... Wrong place!

    Workaround?

Enlarge rout out and drop another pup in

A Thunderbird should roar, and I think that this baby will do just that.....

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

    Cheers Jman.
Still working on getting the whole side control setup thingy right... Hoping this time I nailed it

Next step is to hide the tone control, I think you will like the concept I have in mind for this.................

How are you planning to do the electronics? Are you going to wire those pups together to create a series sound? What are you going to do about output levels on neck vs bridge?

Yep, normally i would say three is one too many but i had to find a workaround so three it is.....

The bridge pups will be in series but with a funky coil split set up....

sounds like a cool setup DB, have you got a wiring diagram sorted or is the electronics guru Weirdy helping you out ?
