    love it Jman, your colour plans sound great. Is this a scratch neck as well ?

    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks

    So beautiful.

    I used the same bridge on my guitar, really like it, but my action is a little high with, what I think is the bridge all the way down.

    Let me know how your action goes with that bad boy when you get there, as fixing it is on my "long term not really important" list of to-dos. Could be my nut

    I have sunk the neck 2mm lower in the neck pocket to get the strings lower to the body face, i have milled the bridge shape into the body face to lower that too so actiom height is fully adjustable.

    Gav lets see how she plays first lol....

    I reckon the 'stock shape ties in beautifully with this guitar.
    Also loving the very tasteful departure from F holes.
    What do I have against F holes? nothing lately
