I'm back!
It's been a while since my first build now, and although I hardly have time on my hands anymore running around after an 18 month old, I couldn't resist picking up one of the specials from the anniversary sale![]()
I took delivery of a shiny new JR1 kit today. At first glance everything seemed to be ok, the body had a couple of glue spots, which doesn't really matter since this puppy is going to be painted white (apologies to DB, I know I'm committing a crime against tone).
My main concern is with the neck. On doing a quick mock build I noticed that the base of the neck isn't flat, and doesn't sit flush to the body. My first thought was to shave it down, but I'm afraid that if I do that it will result in a high action, or worse.
Is there a workaround or do I need a new neck sent out?
