Thanks Wokka. Yeah, that's pretty much what it is. I was trying to figure out the best way of hanging, tried clamps like a few people suggested, but I found them a bit awkward to paint around.. stared at it for a while and decided the easiest way was to grab some fairly heavy gauge wire i had lying around, tie it around a couple of washers and run it through the cavity. Worked pretty well I think

Yes! Was going to use sand paper, but I think you're right, I'll go with steel wool![]()
nice hanging method Bec. Don't go near the cap with any sandpaper, these caps are very thin. Use super fine 0000 grade steel wool works well between coats.
I'm currently building one of these Sunday special kits. Looks like you didn't get any glue on the cap either !

Cool. Love the way this is turning out, Bec. That green is gorgeous and the BMW coat has popped the grain magnificently. Gonna be sweet!

Loving how she looks so far Bec! You popped the grain magnificently with the BMW and the green is just spectacular. Looks like you are well on the way to a gorgeous burst too. Great work!
Cheers,
Gav.
