    Now it is time for speed humps...errr... frets....
    First step is to clean out the slots.
    I am using a .25" gauge saw for this as it is the same width as the slots.

    You can see how much crud builds up from finishing the fret board....

    Seating the frets...

    Firstly, I seat the ends by tapping firmly with a deadblow fretting hammer.

    Then I seat the rest of the fret.
    Usually I would press the frets in, but due to the shape of the neck and body it was easier to manually seat them.

    looking awesome as usual DB, looks like its almost ready for clear coats of dingotone !
    Current Builds and status
    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    Now for the pickup surrounds.

    First up, drill out the corners with 15mm Forstner bit, then set up Dremel and attack!
