That Part Chimp song is quite cool @adam. started out a bit wtf, but as the song progressed it became infectious (for me anyway...now I want to to listen to it again).

Those other Red Fang songs are cool @MetalMatt, and they are good at making cool clips.

Another in the Sludge/Stoner vein is Sleep. This song goes for over an hour though (apparently their record company were none-to-happy about it when the presented it for their new album). Hard to find the time to dedicate to listening to this song, but maybe this is worth putting on while sanding a kit

Stone Giants. Their lead guitarist is an amazingly versatile and generally great player, but no one seems to know them.

Some really great stuff here! I love all that stoner rock/sludge type stuff too. I'm a big fan of Sleep and High On Fire too.
Any 'Electric Wizard' fans here? Very Sabbath inspired, thick and heavy.

Thanks for posting Dopesmoker, Darren, it's been ages since I listened to that. Had to delete it off my mp3 player because shuffle decided to put it on way too much. Great song for a sanding session.

If you're into Prog/Technical Metal, a friend of mine just put me onto Blotted Science.

@Fretworn, I am in love! So right up my alley. Kinda like a more modern version of Mr Bungle. Great horns.

Thanks Tim!.. I have an album of theirs but never really got into it. But watching the Video along with it completely changes the whole experience. Much better with the Video.

No worries, leetbrown, I totally agree.

I have a deep appreciation for the work these guys have done to to essentially rewrite the soundtrack for those clips.
