Yeah I'd be holding on to it too, it's a major thing of beauty. I'm hearin' ya regarding the tools and definitely gonna have a go at a scratch build in the near future. I shore for 13 years and it's a thankless job designed to destroy a man. Money's awesome, you get to see the world and meet great people but otherwise it sucks.
I'm raising my kids, building guitars, writing music, I'm the brokest I've ever been in my life and I've never been happier, kinda living the dream really (except for the poor bit lol)
Two herniated discs, one torn and just to add insult to injury arthritis and bone spurs.... Thats what you get from chucking boulders around.
