I'm a rubbish photographer, I used to do a bit of freelance graphics and editing so I kinda know my way around Photoshop./<\\/p>[]<\\/p>/Quote from pablopepper on May 23, 2014, 09:26

It definitely helps to have a good image to start with but not necessarily essential.

Hey thanks Stan, it's kind of a relief really, I can get back to some sort of normality (until the withdrawals start kicking in anyway) and sit back and see the "Dark Knight" and all the other cool axes on here unfold.
I'm still waiting on one more piece in the form of a stamp I've ordered from Maylasia with my logo on it for the back of the headstock so it might be another 3 weeks before this is ready to reveal anyway.
Good times...
So got some strings on this morning, run the notched straight edge down the finger board and noticed a slight back bow so a bit of adjustment on the truss rod and it seems a lot better.
Roughly dialed in the bridge to a height where it will play right up the neck with minimal buzz but the action's still a bit too high really. It's not horrible to play by any means and I can still knock out a sound demo no worries but I think once the leveler turns up and I can attempt a fret job it's gonna help get the action down a lot more. I suspect it may be a bit high at the nut too just comparing it to my SG but a more expert eye could probably tell instantly.
Was going to wait for a stamp for the back of the headstock but stuff it, I'm just gonna call it done.
Thanks to everyone who helped out along the way, it certainly makes putting these things together sooo much easier when you've got such a wealth of knowledge on the forum.
It's been fun...
