Oh Sorry, forgot this bit. Wokka, they are kits.

I got a cpl of kits with the idea of making them pay for the one I can keep. Now I seem to be stuck with a four spares. lol

worst comes to worse I'll knock the nut off and make two into lefties for a couple of mates. they'll just have to get used to the pots under their arm pits.... lol

    58/59 double cut has arrived.
Quality is only average. the plastic nut had fallen off in transit. I'll probably replace that with a proper bone nut.

Now just wainting on DB for the other LP Junior.

one of these will end up with the P90 while the other gets a Mini Humbucker.

    Cheers PK

Plastic nut falling off is probably not the worst thing that could happen, great incentive to throw it in the bin really...
They're some nice kits alright though, will be watching with interest.

Ha ha Hope you mean throw the nut in the bin. I've ordered a bone nut from Novella Guitars in Melb. bit pricey at $8 but includes postage. I've got a Blank Bone nut AJ gave me, but I don't have the tools to shape it.

Lol, yeah the nut mate. I've actually been doing quite a bit of business through Cos at Novella, he's a bit like these guys here at PBG, willing to do anything to help you out, e.g sent me out some metric knobs by mistake that wouldn't fit my CTS pots, instead of swapping them he just said keep them and sent out the proper ones the very next day, also he just sent me out some extra nuts for my pots totally free. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for after market parts. His stuff might seem a bit pricey but it's all top quality gear, he doesn't stock rubbish.

This one for the P90. I tend to think the other style should have Gretsch style mini's in them. Like a cross between a Junior and a Cabronita.
