"soul destroying" boy you got that right Gav! Being that his is my first real adventure into the world of nitro, whilst it has a phenomenal curing time and a beautiful finish it also has some quite nightmarish properties they don't tell you about on the can.
We could start a whole new thread and call it "Epic Fails".
Clears all on (about seven coats all up with fine sandings in between) and hopefully I can get through the finishing sand without any further surprises, fingers crossed.

I've used the Behlen Nitro spray can(s)on this one.

I've experimented with heaps of clear cans and trying to find a reliable one. Thats more of a gloss coat isn't it ? looks glossy in the photos

Yeah it's pretty glossy, I'm not aware of them doing different finishes of clear in the can although I think they do sell a flattener additive if using a gun./<\\/p>[/<\\/p>[]<\\/p>/]<\\/p>/Quote from wokkaboy on May 9, 2014, 11:21
