I don't reckon I could cut that sort of detail with any real degree of precision, it would end up looking like my 3 year old did it.
Hopefully it should only be a couple of bucks to get one printed up and they're in Australia as opposed to the other side of the planet. Anything I can do to make it easier and save more heartache and dollars is the new philosophy.
I didn't plug the holes, I purposely ordered a blank overlay as opposed to a pre-drilled one so I could just match it up with the factory holes on the headstock.

Yeah I have access to a vynil stencil cutter, wouldn't do it freehand either. Hope you have more success next go

Body all masked and shot with first coat of primer, that cursed glue spilt on on the top is still poking through though. I'm not sure if additional layers will bury it or if I should just bite the bullet and sand it off. It's not "raised" as such, it's just shiny which makes it stand out.

I went with my gut and sorted out the glue issues on top and shot a second coat of primer and it looks way better. I'd hate for someone else's crap workmanship to bite me in the bum further down the track...
If anyone's crap workmanship is gonna bite me in the bum it'll be mine thanks!

Looking good, your really ripping into it. I'd think about plugging the tail piece and bridge holes to save sanding them out later.

Hey Gav, I had every intention of masking it off, even bought some of that blue thin line tape and everything. 5 mins into it I made the executive decision that it would in fact just be easier to scrap it, so yeah...if anyone's got any handy tips how how to easily and effectively mask binding I'd love to hear about it.
