To my ears it sounded like the neck pickup was louder than the bridge pickup. Might be wrong, it could have been how hard you were hitting. If it is you may need to adjust the pickup heights to try and balance them out.

Well as much as I loved the tone of the Meranti/ Wandoo neck I originally made. I've had some stability issues with it, as some of you guys were concerned about.
I found the meranti was very temperamental in changing weather conditions. So I decided to make a new neck with tried and true timbers. Qld Maple with a rosewood board.
