I love Winkipop, and your guitar as well .
Surfed Boob's winki, Bird Rock, Bell's, Criters at Anglesea, Roadnight, O'Donohues Rd, Urquarts, Cathedral's(at 10ft, it was bloody scary), Lorne, Wye, Kennet's, Saw Mill, and Marengo. All many many years ago. used to buiild my own boards, now I build my own Guitars. These days I just build a few guitars for myself and my adult kids.
One time at O'donahues a bloody big fish jumped out of the wave in front of me. I thought it was a Noah and started yelling at everyone to get out of the water, then I saw the fin and turned around and paddled back out for a few more quiet surf.. bloody porpois.

I love the colour of your Tele. It looks absolutely stunning.

    Cheers PK

In my eara down the coast I was known as 'Spot'. made Spot Surfboards, well only a few for mates and myself. Drank at Nobby's

Thanks guys. It was great to get back into the shed and knock one of the builds up after some heavy lifting at work. It's inspired me to get on with the 5 string bass that's finished with the staining process and is ready for first fit.

Hi PK. Yes it's a great part of the world. We've been here for 7 years so we have another 25 or so before we're considered local.

10ft at Cathedral sounds way too much for this novice. I'll leave that to the experts. I've not heard of Spot boards but I will certainly check it out with a couple of the long term local boys. Watch for the bass. I've called that one Jarosite!

Oh and by way of disclosure, whilst I did the shaping of the headstock, Mrs Glenno did the freehand template based on my brief. 8-)
