Sides treated with one coat of Dark Onyx Deep Coat. Interested to see how it dries...

Back treated with one coat of Carmine Gypsy deep coat over Burning Sun. Masking tape removed to test overall look.

    The Crimson King, eh?
That'll be Fripp-ing fantastic. Will it end up in the Hall and be the same colour as a Lark's Tongue? Should be able to play some nice Cadences on it as they Cascade into each other.
    Hehehe
    I could go on forever...
It sure ain't starless and bible black.....

Deep coat of Carmine Gypsy applied to the neck over the Aged Vintage base coat. The plan is either to steel wool back the central area to reveal the yellow, or to steel wool the edges to provide more tooth for the base coats of CG.

First attempt at the back sunburst. Deep coat of Dark Onyx bleeding into base coat of Carmine Gypsy.

And now the neck. First burst application- some rough edges to be smoothed on the second coat, but the vintage Gibson vibe is starting to happen...
