looking good Haydn, although I'd love a CNC machine it takes all the work out of it and that's the challenge I like making scratch bodies with a bandsaw, router, sander and every little stuff up shows its been hand built.
Keep up the good work, the tele is looking like its straight out of the Fender factory !

    Thanx!
yea me too..BUT ive got only 1 usefull arm, my left arm, ooh Im right handed BTW, If I choose to use the knakkered arm I need to take at least 5 pain killers per hour for the payment to use that arm...I had an op that they completely removed all the cartliage out the shoulder joint so where there used to be 5mm of cushion and lube there now is none! So fact... factory look it is from me im afraid, and if you thnk there isnt any work in cnc ...well wait until you get one and see the work load that comes your way..hehe! they dont magically program themselves or setup the stock or take days to draw something you like, its a completely different headspace just more accurate to .003 of a mm everytime you make that part! I love it! give me my freedom to do what I like when I want it, oretty much like when I used to be able bodied! Now sorta one armed bandit.. stop and think before I try and reach for a cup to make some tea! and Oh I hand built my cnc machine with a hacksaw a radial arm saw a battery operated drill and a tape measure, looks hand built but cuts like a dream

wow I never knew you only have one useful arm. How did you manage that 2.5 minute IB6S demo ?
Sure I can appreciate the work involved in programming the machine to cut the shape you want, I've been a CAD draftsman for over 20 years.
I would be interested knowing more how to build a CNC machine, great for pumping out body/necks in a fraction of the time with almost 100% accuracy

not much backwards and forwards arm sawing action or pushing needed or force for drilling needed to play bass there buddy!I can move it sorta around but no force..would you like to see the xrays and Hi definition photos taken with a camera shoved into the arm socket? pretty knarly stuff especially the part where he used a micro hammer so punch a few holes into the cup joint to make it bleed out and try make some scar tissue that would become the .5mm cartliage replacement ...we hope, so to answer you question 2.5m of demo? hmmm not to bad was ok I suppose, wanna give me your arm mate! will gladly trade! will go for an hour then! and almost 100% accuracy is accurate enough for me hehe bring your calipers and we start measuring .00 numbers in wood..wet it and its out lol! Oh I can change nappies too with out too much pain! the little one really apreciates that I Think! hahaa

So Craing came over and pried one of his dream axes out my hands but not before we sat and puzzled how to cut a perfect binding with the wrong sized cutter on a curved surface...whoohoo got there in the end, amazing how you can bullshit technology to doing what you want it to do, not what it thinks needs to be done!
here is the actual proof of accomplishment
