mistake

The headstock is done and the copper shielding is done.

Body finish has now been left alone for two weeks and will be the next part to be finished finally.

Tuners are black with gold. Name is the Humphrey 6. Headstock is English Burr Walnut veneer.

looks good Humphrey, you posted the top 2 pics three times - I take that back you removed the double up photos !
That headstock would look so much better shaped but thats a personal preference, you could even round off the corners.
Did you forget to run an earth wire from bridge post ? I see you banged in the bridge post bushes but can't see a wire in the control cavity

Yes the headstock would look better shaped but I do not have the tools to do this. Next time I will get Dingo B to do it for me prior to sending the kit.

no worries Humphrey, you could buy a coping saw to cut the headstock, probably $20-30, or buy an electric jigsaw then sand it, maybe next build !

Hey Humphrey, I know that DB will do a excellent job, you only have to look at his scratch builds to know he's a master craftsman, but the little things like shaping your own headstock is one of the more rewarding things about building your own guitar, and gives it that unique "Humphrey" touch.

As Wokka says, you only need a coping saw. That's all I use and it's and old rusty one at that. Lol.

Not suggesting that you do it with this build, as you have it looking so good now, but definitely recommended for your next build.

Keep up the good work and looking forward to seeing more pics of this beauty.

Looks good Humphrey shaping the headstock can be done with the most basic tools and it isnt that hard, give it a go with your next build..

Looking great Humphrey. That Aramathine kicks serious ass. How did you do your headstock decal? That headstock veneer looks awesome as well.

Hi again.
H/S decal is really a bit of an experiment. I think it is too small now its on. It came from BEST-Decals ( BEST is presented like a mirror reverse ) and they are in the USA .....http://www.best-decals.com/. Amazing variations can be bought. Delivery about 3 weeks however.
The picture doesn't doo justice to the headstock veneer and I have veneered the scratch plate as well. Using all gold screws.

Now....... Can I shape the headstock at this stage or should I just leave it for my next PBG which is a 335 style. Any suggestions ?

Humphrey, because your logo is so high on the headstock there isn't much space to cut a headstock shape, but you may be able to create a shallow Gibson headstock shape, google image the SG headstock but you don't want to cut into your logo, so might be worth waiting for the next build, the ES model headstocks are pre-cut from memory (I could be wrong)
Up to you, as cutting the headstock will create more sanding and more finishing of the edges
