    welcome Stan, you have started with a tough kit but best of luck and you have the best backup forum family in the country !!
    Don't forget the 5mm tubing to pull the pots and input jack through the F hole

    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup

    Yes, it doesn't seem simple, but I'm pretty handy and there is no rush. I've read a lot of the built threads , including an ES one and have read Gav's tubing tutorial.
    I also plan a tricky burst finish, so I'm in at the deep end - fortunately I've done a french polishing course, so I'm well used to the eternal sanding mantra.
    It's great to know i have the support of such a great bunch!
