so you used an orbital sander to remove the wudtone ? looks like you used a pretty harsh sandpaper so you will have to sand it down to at least 240 grit before applying wudtone

Yeah, the paper was harsh, when I was doing the quicker passes, i accidentally hit the top screw for the truss rod cover, sparks flew, but nothing broke!! I'll sand it down tonight

crikey Pest you used an orbital sander with the truss rod cover on, you should have removed all the hardware !
And I wouldn't use an orbital paper lower than 120 grit !
Looks like you got a fair bit of sanding to do tonight !
And I'd remove the Les Paul writing, sand that off bro !

well its a lesson next time you could have removed the truss rod cover before you got the sander out - 45 second job - 3 small phillips head screws !
How did the jam go in front of 300 people is a good crowd, did anyone record the song on video ?

good luck with the sanding, you will have sanders elbow again ! When your arm gets sore give it to your old man to sand ! haha

it was as low is it could go, LIKE ALWAYS!!! I get my playing style from my musical idol, Billie Joe Armstrong :P, but that means the strap likes to fall off a lot, which means I gotta get some strap locks!
