Only had time for a light sand but check out the work that has gone into this body, so much routing and drilling holes, it's a work of art. Would hate to know how many hours would take to get to this stage by hand !

Hmmm... The Gibson one only has 2 switches.... Adam, this kit is the Epiphone version, not the Gibson version
Man, that looks so cool! That's going on my list for sure!

Yeah that is a serious piece of work there. My brother has planted a seed that he wants me to build him an SG...I wonder would he want a double neck?

I'll watch this build with interest.

That would be difficult, even with one of those duplicator thingies!!!
That is a work of art in routing...

Wokka, just a pity you can't enter this in GOTM due to the one guitar per customer restriction!

You will always be ahead Pest! By 2 hours or so....but thanks for the congrats on the posts. What 1000 posts really says to me is that I need to be spending more time building guitars than nattering on the forum!!

haha you are funny Gav, it's got one body and one input jack so I'm calling it one guitar. It's going to take a while to build with 2 necks and 2 day curing time for aramanthine, so more than likely will be my August GOTM entry.
I suppose it's like the 2 headed - one body Tasmanian - is this one or 2 people ? haha

oh and big congratulations Gav for cracking the 1000 posts and beating the Pest to the post ! You could have built another acoustic by now if you kept the forum replies down but all forum members appreciate your feedback and help !

It's probably just me, but I always think that the 12 string neck should go on the bottom, and the 6 string on top. I bet the necks aren't interchangable though as I imagine the 12 string neck would have to be a bit wider.
